Bird Banding Demonstration at Cambridge Community Forest
Bursting buds and warmer temperatures bring tropics birds north to take advantage of insect abundance. Join GBT to observe conservation science in action as Neil Gifford, a NYS and USGS licensed Bird Bander, leads us in safely capturing and banding birds at the Cambridge Community Forest. It’s an exceptional opportunity to learn about birds and what they can tell us about the health of our environment!
Registration is free to Grassland Bird Trust members. Not a current member? Please leave a donation (of any amount you can contribute to our wildlife conservation mission) when you register to become one!
