Development Committee (Fundraising)
Grassland Bird Trust is looking for committee members who can help with strategic planning, grant writing and/or hands on fundraising events such as memberships drives and social events.
Individuals with experience in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, non-profit or business administration and a keen interest in promoting wildlife protection and land conservation are encouraged to apply.Contact Us
Members of the Land committee generally work in land protection/conservation or stewardship. Stewardship involves site management and maintenance, such as invasive species or brush removal, overseeing mowing schedules, bird surveys and field trips.
Land Conservation involves permanent protection of land as wildlife habitat for endangered and threatened grassland birds. Experienced volunteers may assist with land acquisitions or help expand our conservation initiatives. Members should be positive, open-minded and committed to conserving land for endangered and threatened grassland birds.Contact Us
Outreach & Education Committee
Outreach Volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including community outreach, membership drives and tabling at our events. You will work closely with our Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator.
Education Volunteers may help with planning and presenting programs for youth, families and adults. Examples include youth education programs in schools or summer camps, guided walks and photography or birding workshops.

Experienced volunteers needed in one or more of the following areas; financial reporting; financial auditing; non-profit accounting and annual budget development.
The Finance Committee has oversight of the organization’s finances and reporting requirements. Experience required.Contact Us
